July 4

Things I would never do this again – without:

Very very good knee pads

A little stool to sit on

Another tiny jackhammer, kickass drill.

More money

An air conditioner!!!

A personal massage therapist.

A bigger bottle of TRAUMEEL homeopathic pain pills.

More experienced help.

Here we have something resembling a little house.  And me, exhausted, sweaty and proud.

Been taking lessons from a Carpenter.  Amazing how much you don’t know you don’t know until you really need to know it.

Discussing the bathroom end with a view of the French door opening.

Today I will house wrap and put in a window.  Wish me luck cuz man I am going to need it!

We have landed and after all the struggle, adventure, drama etc it all seems so worthwhile. We are now parked in a lovely and peaceful place just north of Santa Rosa. Bucolic bliss has become a reality. I got everything on my list: well water, garden, wildlife, quiet (can't even hear airplanes!) and lovely neighbors. Thanks to everyone for the prayers, help, moral support, and patience during this challenging project. About another year and we should be finished.... Ha : )
