12-14 hour days just keep on going….

Have I shown you this picture already?  Probably.  Cat on a hot plywood roof.  The lesser known, happier, more sustainable version of the Tennessee Williams classic.

That is me mastering the confusing concept (for me) of the soffit vent.  In fact it was for awhile unfathomable but I seem to have gotten the knack.  If someone had just told me they are basically bird houses with window screen I would have caught right on.
And for those of you keen on details this is what is holding my house on the trailer.  A few of these actually.

The faces of exhaustion incarnate:

I keep telling Pipoca about her new home and here she is dreaming it into existence using her catnip (junky) toy for a pillow!  Everyone must do their part to make this home happen.  I would love to trade places with her though.  Her job looks way easier.

We have landed and after all the struggle, adventure, drama etc it all seems so worthwhile. We are now parked in a lovely and peaceful place just north of Santa Rosa. Bucolic bliss has become a reality. I got everything on my list: well water, garden, wildlife, quiet (can't even hear airplanes!) and lovely neighbors. Thanks to everyone for the prayers, help, moral support, and patience during this challenging project. About another year and we should be finished.... Ha : )
